In application modernization and cloud migration projects, we address the data layer alongside the application layer. We review existing schemas, query performance and business logic stored inside the database, and set up phased migration and verification steps to complete the transition without data loss or unplanned downtime.

  • Extracting business logic from stored procedures, packages and triggers into the application layer

How we work

  1. Inventory and dependency analysis

    We analyze table structures, indexes, query workloads and stored-procedure dependencies to define the target data model and migration plan.

  2. Schema and code transformation

    We adapt schemas, data types and the ORM layer to the target database, and move in-database business rules into testable application services.

  3. Synchronization and data verification

    We synchronize data via CDC or staged replication and verify row counts, checksums and query parity before cutting production traffic over.
