This policy explains which cookies we use on zenigma.com and its subdomains, what for, and how you can manage your choice. For the details on your personal data, see our privacy notice.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that the site you visit saves in your browser. Sites use cookies for purposes such as remembering your preferences, keeping the site secure or measuring visits.
The cookies we use
We use only the cookies the site needs in order to work. All of them are in the table below.
| Cookie | Set by | Type | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Zenigma | Strictly necessary | Remembers which language to show the site in. | Until you close the browser |
| zg_consent | Zenigma | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice and consent record. | 12 months |
The site's traffic passes through Cloudflare. When Cloudflare detects suspicious traffic, it may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic. These cookies are for security only.
Cookies we do not use
We use no analytics, advertising, social media or cross-site tracking cookies. Plausible, which keeps our visit statistics, and Sentry, which records errors, set no cookies.
The office map on the contact page loads from OpenStreetMap. While it loads, your IP address is sent to OpenStreetMap's servers; OpenStreetMap sets no cookie. Apart from this, we do not embed videos or social media content from other sites.
Legal basis
We set strictly necessary cookies without asking for consent, relying on KVKK articles 5/2-c and 5/2-f and GDPR articles 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f), and in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority's guide on cookies. If we ever start using a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your explicit consent first. Refusing will not stop you from using the site.
Managing your choice
You can make your cookie choice in the notice shown on your first visit, and change it at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page. We renew your consent record every 12 months.
You can also view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, your language and cookie choice will not be remembered and parts of the site may not work as expected.
Changes to this policy
